Fun and exciting things to do in Indy
If you are staying downtown we encourage you to explore adjacent neighborhoods to experience the best that Indianapolis has to offer. Technically downtown, Mass Ave has some great food and night life options. Also close by are Fletcher Place and Fountain Square and are home to some of our favorite spots in the City. Neighborhoods like Broad Ripple and Irvington are littler further away but are definitely worth checking out!
Below, Nathaniel and I provided a few of our favorite spots that we think you might enjoy!
Food

Tasty brunch and beverages. Reservations not accepted and typically a 30-45 min wait. Worth it though. There is a nice outdoor space and a bar to order drinks and pastries while you wait.

Diner out on the east side with the best breakfast food in town. Great portions, large menu, and great prices. Guy Fieri was here so that’s really cool or super lame depending on who you ask. We think it’s cool.

Local grocer and butchery with tasty sandwiches and a great beer and wine selection. Order the Batali and go downstairs for some wine or beer.
Local Haunts

Go past the main restaurant to enter the Tiki bar. Would not recommend the tacos but the drinks are great!
